My Book: Transformation and Resilience
In this book, "Transformation and Resilience, My Life as an Entrepreneur," I open the doors to my first battles in the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Tijuana, long before I became a lawyer specializing in international and immigration law.
I recounted my more practical beginnings, managing businesses like a spa and a restaurant on the iconic Avenida Revolución. The message I want to share is essential and vital: to thrive, you must reinvent yourself or die. It's a truth I learned by never giving up.

Un mensaje sobre nunca rendirse
A key message in my book is to tell entrepreneurs not to give up or quit at the first sign of difficulty, regardless of the reason they started the business (such as not wanting a boss or simply deciding to be an entrepreneur).
Although I acknowledge that I wasn't prepared at first, I emphasize in the book that I subsequently prepared myself along the way and made the necessary changes to achieve better results in life and in my business.

The Journey of Entrepreneurship Before the Law
Preparation and challenges
My book chronicles my own journey as an entrepreneur, offering practical tools and advice I gained from venturing into business before becoming a lawyer. I started my entrepreneurial journey at the young age of 23, and the book includes details of my past ventures, such as a beauty-focused spa—where I offered services like reflexology, massages, and facials—and a Mexican restaurant called "El Tarasco" on Avenida Revolución in Tijuana.
Transforming and Renewing: A Critical Lesson
A fundamental lesson I share in my book is that entrepreneurs must learn to discern when a business should continue and when it is time to modify or radically change it.
I give as an example my restaurant, "El Tarasco", which unfortunately did not work out, which led me to transform it into "Pasta Europa Café".
I emphasize the saying "adapt or die," stressing that change is necessary when we face crises, such as the initial passport requirement for Americans or the rise in insecurity.

Finding the Opportunity
I maintain that opportunity is always available, especially in the vibrant environment of Tijuana. Therefore, I emphasize the importance of being able to visualize, see and materialize success.
Although my current specialty is international and immigration law, I decided to write about my business beginnings because, in essence, I was an entrepreneur first.
Initially, I considered writing about my life or legal career, but ultimately chose to focus on my fascinating journey as an entrepreneur.
